From Karl Crossman, 5-31-2010
Greetings on Memorial Day!
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends.
It is truly an honor to live in a country where our soldiers have willingly laid down their lives for our freedom.
Better yet, our Savior gave His life to take away our sins, so we could spend our eternity with Him.
We have two updates:
1. We praise God that since moving to North Carolina, God has provided work for Karl in aviation. This has certainly met the family’s need and allowed us the freedom to reserve the Wycliffe financial support for when we begin full time ministry with JAARS1. About a week ago, Karl learned that the contract position with this last employer was finished, but we consider this truly a blessing from God (again). Having this time now allows us to focus all our energies on partnership development, especially with the coming trip in June.
2. In early June, Karl will be traveling north again to visit supporters, churches and anyone interested in learning more about Wycliffe. He has several appointments already arranged, but has time for more. If you would be interested in having him come visit you, your church or small group – the time is NOW to contact us! We are praying for adequate financial support to be cleared to start assignment at JAARS in July.
For those of you praying for Karl’s high INR – thank you! The blood tests have come back to the normal range once again. No one really knows why this happened, but we praise God that no serious injury occurred in that time.
Thank you for your prayers and emails. We appreciate your encouragement so much.
Love,
Karl & Deb
