Women’s Ministry Mission Statement:  

The Women’s Ministry exists to foster spiritual growth, fellowship, outreach, and service among the women of South Portland First Baptist Church.

Hi,

At a recent meeting, our women’s ministry team came up with the idea of sending care packages to our senior college students.  We have several of them that will be graduating this spring:

Kayla M.

Rachel A.

Shelby D.

Liz W. 

Will you help us by donating items for them?  We will be collecting until February 24th, and they can be dropped in the special box on the front counter.   Here are some ideas of what we are collecting: 

Twizzlers, (strawberry) Charleston chews, Reese cups,  peanut Sweet and Salty granola bars, strawberry pop tarts, peppermints, peanut butter crackers,  popcorn, gum, trail mix, dark chocolate, almonds, nuts, cookies, school supplies, Gatorade bottles, powdered drink mixes, Vitamin water bottles, gift cards to Starbucks, stores like Trader Joe’s, Hannaford’s , Shaw’s, Walmart, Walgreen’s, Target, Dunkin Donuts, gas stations etc.  You get the idea….the list can go on and on.

How surprised they will be upon opening up a care package from their church family!  Cash donations will be accepted, too, if you hate to shop!
